Day 90 has come and gone...and we're thrilled with our Power 90 results!

So, Day 90 for us was on August 1, the day we flew out here to NJ...so we took our measurements and pictures on July 31 to avoid running out of time early the next morning before our flight. Power 90 is now behind us and we have nothing but great things to say about the program.

Our measurements from day 1 to day 90 are as follows:

Today, Monday August 3, we began Slim in 6. It's a whole different kind of program and we're looking forward to really getting into it and seeing even more results! We'll keep you posted on how this program is working for us and our progress along the way :) For now, we're just going to enjoy our vacation and spending time with our family here on the East Coast, AND we will KEEP PUSHING PLAY! We're almost there!

Saturday, August 1, 2009 is day 90 for us! We are so excited and proud that we have stuck with Power 90 and a healthy diet all the way. We have just 2 more days to stay focused on Power 90, and then we will be rewarded with a three week vacation in NJ :) Once in NJ, we will be starting the Slim in 6 program...and are hoping to stay on track with our eating habits. It's always harder to eat well on vacation...but we will be trying! We hope to inspire a few people while we're there too. We'll be bringing our day 1, 30, 60, and 90 pictures as well as our measurements for each day as well; hopefully we'll impress someone with our dedication and hard work. Day 60 is here!

We've reached Day 60 with Power 90!  We are happy with the results that we're seeing, although they are not nearly as drastic as when comparing Day 1 to Day 30.  We have our measurements to share with you...

Allison took a bonus measurement around her belly button, just to compare later on...
on Day 1, this measured 38 1/4", Day 30= 36", and today on Day 60= 33.5"...that's 4.75 inches lost just measuring around at her belly button!  

We hope this motivates you to try one of the Beachbody programs!  From what we have read and seen, comparing Day 60 to Day 90 are some pretty great results, so we are looking forward to weighing and measuring in on August 1, just before our 3 week trip to New Jersey! :)

We Graduated!

We graduated to Power 90 3/4 this week!  On Monday we decided to take it up a notch and move on to the next phase of Power 90...one word...wow!  It may be mostly the same moves as 1/2, but we are sweating a heck of a lot more and getting sore all over again, it's wonderful!  It is definitely challenging, especially to get through all of the 'sweat' workout.  

So in 'sculpt 3/4', we added up all of the pushups, and we found that we're doing about 100 pushups every session, as well as over 100 squats...and 200 crunches...that alone will wear you out, nevermind the rest of the 38 minute workout.  Yet we continue to love every second and push ourselves because we want to get those results.  We are on day 47 out of the 90 day program and look forward to taking our 60 day pictures and measurements :)  (oh, and I'm proud to say that we have not missed a workout yet!  ...and we don't plan to either)

We are off to Pismo for the weekend, so we're looking forward to being active at the beach and eating healthy away from home.  We are definitely needing some time away and on Monday we will be back to pushing play :)

Drinkable awesomeness...Shakeology

On June 1 we started Shakeology.  Shakeology is a Beachbody meal replacement - it comes in either chocolate or green berry.  It is a 30 day supply and you are to replace one meal a day with a Shakeology shake.  It is a little pricey, so we decided to share one 30 day supply (chocolate---YUM!!)...we each replace a meal on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday - 3 meals each a week; it should last us just over a month.  Honestly, we feel a little guilty drinking it because it is SO stinkin' good.  

The directions tell you to mix one scoop of Shakeology with 1 c. of non-fat milk (ice cubes are optional)...however, to this, you can add fruit, peanut butter, or any other healthy options you can think of.  Our favorite is 1 scoop Shakeology, 1 c. non-fat milk, 1 Tbsp. almond butter, and 5-6 ice cubes.   Drinkable awesomeness.  We highly recommend it!

Welcome!

So, you decided to check out our website...good for you!  This means you're at least interested in taking a step towards a healthier lifestyle or to simply find a program that will help you stay in shape.  We're going to keep this website updated with our progress (to hopefully get you motivated and to show off our results!), as well as with programs and products that can change your life.  

I (Travis) am an independent Beachbody coach.  I became a coach because I truly believe in the programs and products that Beachbody has to offer.  I have lost 16 pounds (!!!) in the first 37 days of Power 90, and 7% bodyfat - from 22% to a current 15%.  My wife, Allison, has lost 15 pounds (!!!) and 7% bodyfat as well.  We are on a roll!!  We are 37 days into Power 90 and are loving every second.  We can't wait to see day 60 results.  (We will be adding pics in a separate post, so keep an eye out for those.)

You're 'supposed' to weigh in on day 1, 30, 60, and 90...but we cheat on occasion.  It's hard not to!  It feels so good to see results, even if it is only dropping .3 pounds (sometimes more!) from one day to the next.  On day 1, we took a photograph of ourselves, as well as documented our measurements...I'll share those measurements with you in a second...We did the same thing on day 30...Here are our measurements, side by side:

So, you can see that Power 90 gets results; we are proof!  Pairing a Beachbody program with healthy eating habits gets you the results that you want.  Remember, changes will not happen over night, but if you keep with it and STAY COMMITTED (to both the program and diet), you will see your body change over 30, 60, and 90 days.  It really is amazing!  I challenge you to get in shape.  These programs can help you get into the best shape of your life.  What do you have to lose, except the weight!  (cheesy, I know...)
